Stages-Stages are based on HP. Modes -Modes are special attack modes. There are a number of these every cycle. # -This number is what the boss is in. To expand, this boss is composed of 2 bosses. One hurt by throw blocks, and one by jumps. sprite 32 is the throw block stage. #1 6 stages until throw block. Stage 1: Mode 1----RED. Fire. 2 fireballs are generated. Mode 2----BLACK. Blue orbs. Mode 3----GREEN. Reverse movements. Mode 4----Brown. Rock throw, 4 rocks. Mode 5----BLACK-BLUE. Bubbles. 4 generated. Mode 5----One of the previous. Mode 6----One of the previous. A throw block is generated here. Plausible glitch with reversed movements. Mario turns back and forth, like TASers do for a fast speed with Yoshi. 4 stages until throw block. Stage 2: Mode 1----RED Mode 2----GREEN Mode 3----BLACK-BLUE Mode 4----RED. It seems throw blocks favor generation on this mode. 6 stages until throw block. Stage 3: Mode 1----RED Mode 2----BLACK Mode 3----GREEN Mode 4----BROWN Mode 5----GREEN Mode 6----BLACK. Right block generation of throw block. Flash 3 tmes, then use thunder SFX for 7 explosions. #2 One of the stages out of Modes 2, 3, & 4 is randomly chosen before cycling back to the first stage. Mode 1: RED. Sub Mode 1----This mode raises a finger and shoots down a fireball, which splits into 2 when it hits the ground. Sub Mode 2----Knight chess pieces are generated from each hand and both do a 90 degree turn before shuttling toward Mario. Sub Mode 3----Slams the ground, smashing any chess pieces left over. Stuns Mario. Sub Mode 4----Sword. this is your chance to jump on the jewel in the boss's head. Mode 2: BLACK. This mode only does 1 sub mode before cycling back to mode 1. Sub Mode 1----4 Blue orbs rain from the sky. Once in position, they detonate 1 by 1 in a white flash for their 1/4th of the screen. Sub mode 2----A pillar of ice envelops Mario and freezes him for about 4 seconds. Mode 3: GREEN. Sub Mode 1----Mario is duplicated. This happens every 4 hits. Mode 4: BROWN. Sub Mode 1----A spiral of rocks is shot from 2 fingers. The spiral contains 12 rocks. 8 thunder SFX explosions, the boss is wiped from top to bottom. The stage ends.
