This page, contains tags that you can use on your submission form, based on what you are doing and submitting, so make sure to place the proper tags and in case you find a tag that isn't present here, please PM an ASM moderator, so he/she can add the missing tag.
General tag list:
- abilities: When a submission changes player's related abilities (spin-jump, for example; don't confuse with power-up).
- berry: When a submission is related to tile or sprite berry.
- boost: When a submission offers a speed boost over the player or some sprite. (old alias: speedup).
- code: When a submission uses UberASM, LevelASM or similar.
- controller: When a submission changes how the controller works (button mapping, etc.).
- counter: When a submission adds or affects a counter.
- dragon coin: When a submission is related to Dragon/Yoshi coins.
- dynamic: When a submission dynamically uploads contents during V-Blank.
- dynamic z: When a submission dynamically uploads content during V-Blank using Dynamic Z.
- filter: When a submission forcefully changes or removes power-ups, Yoshi, sprites, etc.
- goal: When a submission affects goal points or the way you can beat a level.
- jump: When a submission changes how the player's jump work.
- midway point: When a submission is related to the Midway Point.
- mario: When a submission affects something only for Mario.
- mode 7: When a submission is mode 7 related.
- luigi: When a submission affects something only for Luigi.
- player: When a submission affects all players.
- physics: When a submission changes the game physics, for sprites, player, etc.
- pose: When a submission changes something related to the player's pose.
- power-up: When a submission is related (changes, removes, adds) any kind of player power-up.
- sa-1: Whenever a submission is compatible or requires SA-1 Pack.
- super fx: Whenever a submission is compatible or requires Super FX Kit.
- tilemap: When a submission does changes related to tile maps (background, VRAM, Mode 7, etc).
- timer: When a submission is related to timers.
- timing: When a submission changes or affects the game's internal timing.
- save: When a submission changes or affects SMW's loading/saving system.
- smoke: When a submission affects Smoke sprites.
- sprite: When a submission affects multiple sprites.
- tile: When a submission changes or affects sprite tiles on general.
- yoshi: When a submission is related to Yoshies. That includes baby-yoshies.
Patch specific tag list:
- bounce sprites: When a submission affects bounce sprites.
- chip: When a submission activates an enhancement chip (SA-1, Super FX, OBC, DSP, CX4, etc.).
- cluster sprites: When a submission affects extended sprites.
- extended sprites: When a submission affects extended sprites.
- minor sprites: When a submission affects minor extended sprites.
- oam: When a submission modifies, remaps or changes the OAM behavior in the game.
Sprite specific tag list:
- boss: When the sprite is a boss.
- effect: When the sprite is just a graphical effect (e.g. cluster sprites).
- enemy: When the sprite is an enemy.
- pacifist: When a sprite doesn't harm the player and it isn't a graphical effect.
Block specific tag list:
- hurt: Blocks that hurt the player.
- layer 2: Compatibility with layer 2.
- map16: Blocks that changes the Map 16 or tile map.
- on-off: Blocks related to the ON/OFF switch.
- object tool: When a block requires Object Tool.
- solid: Blocks that deal with being solid/non-solid.
